Hello! My name is Keith, a.k.a. that Mindless Pursuits guy. If you’re at this blog, you’ve probably come because you know me from Etsy or from my other blog, Mindless Pursuits. If you’ve stumbled across this blog by accident, let me take a moment to bring you up to speed!
Offhand, you’re probably wondering what the heck this blog is that has the title ‘Honest Answers From A Guy.’ I mean, really? How novel is that? Aren’t guys generally honest? Well, I’d like to think so, but apparently, many women don’t feel that’s the case or else they are just afraid to ask them questions. Thus when I created a thread on the Etsy forums just to see if anyone would respond, I was flooded with questions, some joking but the large majority being sincere, honest questions. For my part, I am an honest man and so set forth to answer them honestly and with thoughtfulness based upon my own experience. As the thread grew, I began to receive feedback that I should expand the thread into an advice column. That led to the creation of this blog, where I will answer all sincere questions as time permits.
The basic rules of this blog are very simple. If you send me a question, I will attempt to answer it if I can, ladies first. I will provide honest answers based upon my own insights, experience and beliefs. I will also attempt to answer as thoughtfully as I deem appropriate. That said, I am not a doctor, lawyer, therapist, mechanic or other specialist. My career is in information technology and my hobbies include most forms of crafting. As such, I am not to be considered an expert on anything except my own experiences, views and thought processes! Any questions that I think require broader knowledge I will attempt to provide some solid research on or more informative links, but I cannot be held responsible for anything other than providing my opinions and insights. OK?
